We are seeking an Accounting Associate specializing in Accounts Receivables to join our finance team. As an Accounting Associate – Accounts Receivables, you will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, tracking and reconciling customer payments, and ensuring timely collections.
Your key responsibilities will include generating and issuing customer invoices accurately, maintaining up-to-date accounts receivable records, and collaborating with the sales team to address billing inquiries. You will play a vital role in monitoring customer accounts, following up on outstanding payments, and working to resolve any payment discrepancies. Additionally, you will contribute to financial reporting by preparing accounts receivable reports and providing insights to the finance team.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
Immersion in the current scope that is handled by the AccountingAssociate for Accounts Receivable, to be able to eventually split the AR workload, streamline and improve processes, given the growing number of transactions
- Daily bank reconciliation, updating, and recording of collections for all Benedict Ventures Inc. business transactions, including accounting and summary reports of these transactions.
- Review and audit Sales Admin computations for incentives and commissions requested to match with the banked-in and posted collections from buyers
- Recording of Output VAT
- Receiving Receipts and invoices from Agents for Input VAT
- Recording of Input VAT
- Daily SAP Upload ofA/R Invoice, Payment Collections, and Deposits
- In the absence of the Accounting Associate, should be able to issue Acknowledgement Receipt/ Official Receipt, accordingly to project
- In the lack of an Accounting Associate, summarize the daily payment collection report and RF incentive revolving fund report
- Respond to clients’ and suppliers’ inquiries via email or phone
- Taking additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
SAP
- Be trained in the SAP processes and help ensure the implantation of SAP both for BVI and ELI employees.
